We understand every pregnancy journey is unique, but there are some foundational, universal truths that benefit every mom-to-be, while having some flexibility in the journey that you can confidently adapt to your situation through each trimester.
The program is made up of three trimesters, and individual phases within each semester. Every phase has options for both home and gym workouts, plus modifications for discomforts and pain management.
Trimester 1: Building Foundations
Just found out you’re pregnant? Start strong with a program design to support your body and mind from the very beginning.
What’s involved?
6-12 weeks of programming with 4 work outs per week + an option for the 5th.
2 nausea-proof workouts that you can do even when you’re not feeling it.
The peace of mind that you’re running a program that supports you in training correctly from the start.
Trimester 2: Strength & Stability
A three phase approach to help you adapt and thrive, setting a foundation for strength and self care. In this trimester it’s all about building resiliience and adapting as your body changes - including any modifications for pelvic pain and sciatica.
What’s involved?
Phase 1: 4 days per week with an optional 5th (+ 2 nausea proof workouts each week)
Phase 2: 3 days per week with options to adjust intensity to 4-5 days.
Phase 3: Progressive programming of 3 days per week with options of 4-5 days.
Trimester 3: Preparing for Birth
In the final trimester, it’s time to focus on honouring your body, preparing for labor and embracing this powerful time. Throughout the remaining two phases you’ll be supported with safe, effective exercises to help empower you for delivery.
Phase 1: 3 days per week, with 2 cardio focused days of walking or 30 minutes of movement
Phase 2: 3 full body workouts with a PREP4PUSHING workout included (+ 2 x 15 minute workouts to do if you need want to instead)
Modifications are available to help you feel comfortable in these final weeks.
